Two spanish startups are selected to participate in the Alhambra Venture.

The biggest event of the South investment will be held on 3 and 4 July in Granada

The next 3 and 4 July, held at the Palacio of Congresses of Granada, one of the biggest events of entrepreneurship of Spain, crowned as the largest in the southern part, the Alhambra Venture. This initiative was created by the IDEAL newspaper aimed at the acceleration of “innovative” and “reversible” projects, who accompanied during their stage of maturation, financing and implementation underway.

This event, which aims to become a point of reference for the undertaking of the South of Spain and be a collector of entrepreneurial talent, will gather for two days to entrepreneurs, investors and institutions that will be with the same goal: know the business environment and facilitate investment to entrepreneurs and innovative companies.

This event has left companies as Galgus, Mission Box or wuolah.com, companies that are now within the market, reaching the American market as it is the case of the first.

Once closed the run, April 22, the jury forming Granada event, has selected 25 startups of more than one hundred who presented their request to participate. These selected companies will present their business model and idea before a jury and more than 62 investors and Business Angels from all Spain, being references in their field, including international. This year, the event launches a novelty, this being a prize of € 3,000 for the best project among those who made the pitch to investors.

The Alhambra Venture will feature companies from throughout the South of the Iberian Peninsula: Valencia, Murcia, Extremadura and Andalusia’s eight provinces. Highlights this year, companies that participate in the Telefónica Open Future project: Open Future Extremadura or Andalusia Open Future.

Since the initiative has been supported to Extremadura by choosing two companies that are housed in the Watchtower, the space located in the building of Indra of the campus from Badajoz, Extremadura Open Future develops. These two startups are Competize and eCapture3D.

Competize is a technology company that allows simplifies the amateur Organization of sports competitions. Its application, available on Apple and Google Play store, helps the organizers of those competitions of any sport or e-sport, automate the management of events, controlling all matches and see the results of these. With a market already arriving in Latin America, this company promises to give a good match in the Alhambra Venture.

On the other hand, eCapture3D, a company that was founded in 2013, has developed a web platform where you can build 3D models with three simple steps: take the photos or videos, upload them to the platform and enjoy the model three-dimensional. This company is positioned in sectors such as security, engineering or health. More than 2000 users and 100 companies are enjoying the services offered by this company.

Once generated the 3D model, the user can view it online from eyescloud3d.com, take action, insert notes, calculating areas and volumes or even download it to be able to print it in 3D, export it to a 3D software or share it using PDF.
